Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

Where are the core values? Where is the transparency? Why are you leaving employees in the dark on their futures with this company? Through the whole process of massive layoffs losing friends at the company and all the stress associated, you would think they would make this transition priod more tolerable and transparent. I've talked with many CHK employees and they all don't know what the hell is going on, why their title changed, or even were notified that their title was changing. If the company has been performing so well what are they afraid of why are they not disclosing bonuses and salaries to the employees? And Doug wonders why people are leaving the company? Grab a clue and treat your employees with respect and dignity for all their hard work. If you are going to shaft the working man, let them know so they plan accordingly. If you are trying to take the cheap way out, just remember saying you get what you pay for!
