The latest version of the oxymoronic Faculty Matters (UPX Magazine) takes on the topic of accreditation--really? Well here are four more numbers for the article--89%, $90,366,022, 4% and 26.4%.
4% is the 6 year graduation rate for the 2006-2007 Online campus student cohort. 26.4% is the University-wide student default rate. 89% is the percentage of students who receive federal grants, and $90,366,022 is the 2011-2012 annual dollar value of the aid. Looks to me like faculty does not matter and all that really matters is a students ability to access Title IV or GI Bill funds.
