Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

There is only one thing that can save UOP

Uop currently has poor leadership in place from the top all the way down to the lower level managers. UOP has allowed poor leaders to run the company at the expense of the students and school image to fatten their own wallets. There are more unethical managers and Directors than there are good right now. UOP fired all of the managers that pushed their people to do well, and left only those that bought into all of that career progression, P2, differentiator b.s. makes perfect business sense, fire the high producers that enroll quality students and keep the check collectors that don't push to earn a profit for the organization. Enrollment is a sales job no matter how you slice it, and uop took all incentives away, and put the fear of losing your job if you even mention friendly competition. Now look at UOP....hanging onto their last breathe while GCU is soaring with enrollments. Why? Because they still focus on compensating their enrollment instead of wasting countless hours discussing differentiators. The future is looking grim for uop until they bring in leaders that actually drive for profits. It is a business, not a charity. If you want less layoffs, the company needs to make enough money to pay the salaries of all the over paid directors and VPs before the lower level managers and employees are even considered.
