Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

The Boston Red Sox are not changing their name. I’m a Red Sox’s fan and if they were changing their name the news would be plastered with that story. The Sox have had their name since 1908. They are a world recognized franchise and the likelihood they would change their name because of possible confusion with University of Phoenix’s red socks commercials is ridiculous. If anything, the Sox’s would sue University of Phoenix to stop the ad campaign if there were even the slightest threat of confusion between the Red Sox and red socks. Where do people come up with some of these posts? Come on people try to at least be accurate.
