Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

To the laid-off employees, what I meant by telling the truth is, if you are given the opportunity to work for anyone be honest instead of lying.

@ Polygraph, I hope you don't think that i'm implying that everything started from the bottom up to the top because that is not what i'm saying. What i'm saying is that I was a student for 27 months and was told so many lies from the start to my Graduation and beyond & that was 4yrs. ago and pretty much every employee @ CCI has continued to lie and mislead students to this very day.

Dear Kent Jenkins and John C. Huesten, Corinthian Colleges' disdain for its employees and students is not a good strategy. My hope is that prosecutors will find a clear trail showing how Corinthian Colleges executives systematically planned to exploit vulnerable veterans, women, people of color, and the underemployed--as well as the US government. I also hope that prosecutors will have the courage to fight this in public. Just because you have political connections, can speak well, and have clever strategies doesn't mean you will win. Corinthian Colleges executives should be grateful that they no one has filed criminal charges yet.

Thanks for attempting to clarify why those who were laid off should feel guilty and ashamed. I appreciate that someone of your impressive integrity has decided to join the discussion to make sure our moral compasses point to magnetic north.

Still, though, the above statement still implies the corruption and deception in CCI originated from the bottom up. This hypothesizes that a few workers at separate campuses could independently choose a path of unscrupulousness that would somehow homogenize into a company-wide, systemic method of fraud.

The statement also implies that CCI discovered the deeply embedded, long-standing, independent corruption of more than one thousand employees simultaneously, and that the human resources department in California who drew up the lists of those to be fired at those campuses had a revelation of every dishonorable employee's unethical behavior at the same time and chose to layoff only those who were unethical, leaving the infallible, virtuous employees to run the company.

Finally, it seems to put forth the theory that upper management had absolutely no knowledge of the epidemic misconduct at every level of operation in the company they were directing until the US Government told them, or they had a sudden epiphany that their former almost-supernatural monetary gains were ill-gotten.

That seems plausible.
