Corinthian Colleges CEO resigns

That was December 2010...The chief executive of the for-profit Corinthian Colleges chain resigned amid questions about the school's recruiting techniques and a plunge in its stock price.

Peter Waller's resignation, which was requested by the board, marked the second exit of a top executive at the Santa Ana-based chain in less than two months. In October 2010, Matt Ouimet quit the president post.

Jack Massimino stepped in saying that the company needed a leader with a different approach. Article from the LA Times:http://articles.latimes.com/2010/dec/02/business/la-fi-corinthian-ceo-20101202 ....It appears that the company is still awaiting that different approach. How's it going Jack?

Peter Waller and Matt Ouimet cared for the students and the employees. He focused on long term growth by making the schools better and the employees happier. This did not go over well with the board of directors as they only cared about the bottom line.
