Sincere thanks never grow old. Meaningful recognition raises employee morale and encourages higher levels of employee performance. At CCi, Parthenon – our annual event to recognize outstanding employee performance -- has been our way to honor our best and our brightest performers for the past 18 years.
While Parthenon Forum has served us well and been a wonderful tradition in our organization, we also recognize that it may no longer be the most effective way to celebrate outstanding employee performance today. At a time when our company is closely managing its budgets and streamlining costs, we believe it’s time to re-evaluate Parthenon. With this in mind, we have cancelled the Parthenon Forum event in Washington, D.C. in August and have asked our field leadership to gather ideas on how we can continue to recognize and reward our highest performers in a way that is effective in its purpose. As we review these ideas and determine our next steps, we will keep you informed.
If your goal was to be able to attend the Parthenon Forum this year, please rest assured that it will be replaced with an equally meaningful form of recognition, so keep up the good work and continue to give our students your very best efforts. As always, thanks for all you do each and every day.
