I'll lay out the FACTS from a legit source.
-
For its particular majors, Heald is the best in its field.
-
Credits are transferable within the CSU system and with others to which they have an articulation agreement.
-
Even though credits are transferable to a CSU, the majority of the core units to each major are not. Basically, if you plan to transfer from the start just stick with a community college.
-
Heald has more start times than impacted community/state colleges(public) and it is no trouble getting classes. They have classes from 8-9:50AM 10-11:50AM 12:10-2PM 2-4PM 5-6:50PM 7-8:50PM & 9-10:50PM These are the times classes start and run, it isn't going to "magically change" so you can go from 6-10PM.
-
It costs way too much money and you're paying for the convenience.
-
The professors are top notch and spend the time to make sure you're doing okay and passing. It's a great education, but often seems easy because they're making it easy for you by taking out the guess work. If you pay attention, you learn.
