Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

It's a pyramid game......simply put.....and the students are left holding a bag of shit in the end.

I'm sorry but our students get a real education. Our training is real. What they do with it is another story. We have THOUSANDS of real successes. Single mothers who went from minimum wage working overnights doing warehouse work to working M-F in Dr's offices making $14/hr. Almost DOUBLING income?? More that $13,000 more a year AND nights and weekends with her kids!!! With $1,000 mire a month YOU can make your payment and then some. This works when you work for it! If you don't, it won't either. How about we look at why it doesn't work for everyone. Education does not cure lazy. It does not cure unprofessional. It does not make someone HUNGRY for success. We SELL our services to ADULTS. Where is the accountability on the part of the person who enters in to the contract?? They were duped? I doubt it. I've been on the front and and the back and for every person who says we didn't get them a job...I'll show you someone who BURNED 2 externship sites or changed telephone numbers like they changed underwear or didn't heed advice to clean up their voicemail message. Or how about when someone realizes that when they earn a decent living the Section 8 or food stamps get taken away so why work for theirs when they can sit at home? The AGs need to get real. If they want to sue, start with the public education system churning out adults incapable of making informed decisions or lacking the self discipline to pay student loan bills every month along with $150 cell phone bills and $500 car payments. Then go after Jenny Craig because she doesn't work for everyone either. Now all this said I am quite frustrated with this company but for how the employees are help responsible for things we cannot control more than anything. Yeah there have been bad apples but that is a small few. Sorry for ranting but what we do has worked for so many. I've seen it with my own eyes.
