A fellow ops employee mentioned that FHEG was opening off campus stores. I was an employee at the old FTX (Follett Textbook Exchange SDSU) and none of the 30 off campus FTX stores made money and they were all closed within a couple of years. This is a road already traveled and didn't work out. College store market is moving online. Off campus stores will be high overhead and low margin especially if you are discounting. Does anyone else remember the FTX stores? The off campus stores that Follett has like Purdue and Miami of Ohio are very special markets. http://www.bkstr.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/StoreCatalogDisplay?catalogId=10001&langId=-1&demoKey=d&storeId=10479&cm_mmc=%20Redirect--VanityURL--coastal.bkstr.com-_-10479

Well the strategy to have people eating each other up at work is in play so cannibalizing seems in line with the business approach along with debt.
So we're just going to cannibalize ourselves? If we can't drive the customer to ONE website, how are we going to get them to two? What a Pain-yo.
