@L-3 for life: Then what would the team leads do all day if not for meetings? Work!!?? Team lead position was created specifically for the purpose of forwarding status reports of workers who do work, walking from cell to cell and talking to other team leads in the hallway or parking lot, smiling while telling their "team" that the "manager" wants this or that, and sending more emails scheduling more worthless meetings to discuss more worthless changes. Oh thats right, they created a "supervisor" position to "help the team leads"... I get it....
Susie Davis is one of the good ones. She truly cares about her people and has done a lot for both her employees and the company. People that have worked for her would work for her again in an instant including me. Stop talking sh*t about something you know nothing about.
agreed 8076 - he is the guy that does nothing but blames everyone else for not getting anything done, I am getting tired of the blame game around here -always some other department, maybe the reality is that most people don't really do anything, but they never noticed because forecast met expectations, what a stupid philosophy, why not ask why it wasn't more. If you have marketable skills and aren't looking for another job you are crazy, this place is going in the tank - but the old slugs, that we can all name still troll around as well as the great management team. This place needs a cross functional team (not all of your golden boy types, the really fakkin smart people - not based on a test score, but based on what they have done for this hellhole) led by someone that has the authority to say this is the problem - and no, the engineering takeover of IT isn't the answer, fortunately I dont work with them or in that building, but I feel it for those IT guys - all they did is what they were told by you fukkers in the business that now blame them, its not one department, there are some really sharp people in this place, but they rarely get to flex, just sit around making up for the incompetency of the people they work with that make the same coin.
CORPORATE, PLEASE DO A REVIEW AND GET RID OF SOME OF THESE LOSERS THAT SPEND ALL DAY IN MEETINGS!!!! There is no need for some mid level team lead guy/gal that just forwards status reports to someone else at director level and spends the day in meetings.
its rambling, but maybe thats what they need, a truly open forum for people to express their opinion because the philosophy of fire them until we balance isnt working, because the affect is that the good people see the light and know they dont want to be the last man standing
