Think twice before going to work for JPM - to start off, our salaries aren't that good, bonuses are average, your career development is left to you, nobody cares about you. Benefits are substandard, 401K is fair, yet health benefits seem to get more and more costly each year.

To pile on here: We have very questionable managers, I was not always treated courteously and with respect/dignity. People here fight for leadership positions and act differently depending on the political situation. A person is forced to act very fake, to lie and deceive just to not be trampled on at times. Internal employees have difficulty getting promoted and we hire from outside a lot which is stupid and kills motivation
JPM/Chase is too big to foster company-wide work programs as they should, you can very easily fall through the cracks
I somewhat agree here - management should treat the staff with respect. In short, the better you treat them the harder they will work for you. At Chase whenever our targets were completely met we would be rewarded with something special (e.g., lunch, gifts, etc.) - that's how worker's mind work.
