I'd rather wear Kmart clothing than what CW decides on.

David did a decent job, he was a lot easier to work with than Diaz and Annie.....the real problem is CW......she needs to go.

I'm sickened by some of these posts. You're grown adults making rude and insensitive comments about a person. How despicable. David was fantastic at his job and his exit is so unfortunate. It's too bad you people are so focused on a person's choice of salad dressing that you don't realize Follett lost a great one.

Pointing him out on his weight issue? News flash...a lot of you in that office are ugly (inside and out), have bad teeth, are bi-polar, anorexic, whores, real crazies, ass kissers, back stabbers, carpet munchers, devil worshippers, f*** toes, etc. So you see....everyone has something wrong with them. I bet you like poking asses!

Thank you 11110. These crass and irrelevant remarks undermine the legitimacy of the very real concerns posted on this board. Such mean remarks are the equivalent of criticising the sock choice of the person arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Says more about the commenter than the target of the post.

Hey, why the ad hominem attack? David was smart enough to leave before he got Mary Lee’ed wasn’t he? Guess he should have stayed and took the blame for the senior managements stupid decisions. You own it David, how are you going to fix it?

That is called weight discrimination. All of you covertly aggressive will speed up the downfall of the Follett empire.

11099 is classic evil that looms all around Follett. Why pick on the person? I'm so sick of all the bullies at this company. You really must hate yourself a lot or are just so insecure that you pick on others to feel better. After hurting someone...you will still be stuck with the nasty part of you that makes you miserable. Maybe you should work on that.

CW makes the buying decisions. Don't kid yourself. 11093 is right, he didn't buy on his own. And who do you think approves all the stupid mark downs and flash sales. Senior VPS not the buyers.

Why blame David for senior management decisions? He bought what they wanted.

The need to let the store managers have more say in what items to stock at the bookstores. They know what sells, they know the campus, the students and the area the are working in.

Sourcing needs an overhaul. Ainsworth made bad buying decisions. You can thank him for the majority of apparel markdowns taken in March. Company needs to move to move to more regional buying. What sells on the east coast doesn't necessarily sell in the south or the west coast.
