I agree I think that's why they are pursing contracts with the bookstores again.

Still think there is a plan. they have something in the works. I just have a feeling their VP'S have a better vision.

This may work for the bigger campuses with more affluent parents, smaller campuses or state colleges the students do not have spending money. "Hanging out" at the bookstore is going to hard to pull off to get them in and if they don't spend that's going to be harder to make a profit. I like the idea it would be nice for the students to have a comfortable place to go with their study buddies and have a cup of coffee. Umm sounds like another place I went to....One more little hurdle most Follett's stores are pretty small as far as sq. ft. Maybe the could make vertical sitting, I just had a marvelous vision on how that would look,
