How to get promoted in finance

  1. Kiss ass and more ass. In some cases it's more than kissing ass. It's too graphic to get into. Lol just jokes!

  2. Be nice and helpful to management but a nasty, evil bitch to all your co-workers. Oh yeah, throw out a few racial jokes or comments. Why not right? It can't hurt your chances for promotion it seems.

  3. Be willing to throw your co-workers under the bus even if they are your friends. Better yet set up your co-workers and friends so they will fail. Management loves that kind of shit. If you do this for them they may change some rules to promote you.

  4. Have no interest in your own karma or spiritual growth. Nothing you will do will help your spiritual self in this dept. As you climb the ladder maybe you will get far enough from the flames of hell? Heat and fumes rise so good luck to you.

  5. For higher level promotions be willing to give up your family as your top priority. You will be expected to be on a load of special projects. Really you should request them. Yes, more please. Crazy to work at 3 am? Think again.

  6. Accept the fact that you will likely do things and act in ways you wouldn't want your child participating in.

  7. Expect to lose the respect of your children after they hear the war stories and see you love money a power more than them anyway.

  8. Be very careful being too honest and don't disagree with your managers much.

  9. Never, by no means, never ever defend yourself with against management.

  10. Last but not least be a cheerleader. Wear F shirts from the spirit shop. Remember to do a million ridiculous thank you cards.

Feel free to add anything I forgot.

Yes the ones being groomed they even create jobs for. Others have hope and keep trying but most are defeated and don't even try anymore. Whats the point? Management makes it clear who has a chance and who doesn't. The favoritism has never been hidden.

This is so on point! Thank you, thank you, thank you. By the way, this applies in other departments. I kissed any possible promotion goodbye the moment I stood up to manager, and boy did it feel good! Just waiting to be cut now. Additionally, you can always tell who they are grooming.

Does management still demand associates to send values cards because you needed to meet your quota? Honestly I could not meet my quota during recent years. Most field associates were short-sighted, close minded, disrespectful and self-centered.
