Thread regarding L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. layoffs

Happy Easter, Suzy Oops, Lori Heckles, and the South Dakota School of Mine Fields

On this Easter, this employee doesn't expect a resurrection to occur at L-3 CSW and three names are to blame for its demise: Suzy Oops, Lori Heckles, and the South Dakota School of Mine Fields. Suzy Oops, our illustrious leader, left us a culture of management malaise, an indifference to job performance, an expansion of useless buildings, office furniture, and high-end automobiles, and, her greatest gift of all, the encumpiss sap integration. Lori Heckles presided over the greatest single loss for a program in company history, but, somehow, emerged unscathed, claiming ignorance of said activities on that program but firing the manager in charge. She sets a great example for future L-3 leaders to ignore the realities on their programs for the sake of self preservation. Finally, the South Dakota School of Mine Fields (a school none of us would recognize had it not been for one of our esteemed leaders) is single-handedly responsible for educating the worst leader in company history, the same leader who promotes her husband, his brother, and the people responsible for the worst ideas at CSW.

Well Ms Oops is now the Executive Associate Vice President of the new and improved Communication Systems Group. Assuming John Mega should somehow fall into a ripple in the space-time continuum then she can step up and handle the duties of the President. Look for her to move on to something new.

I guess the strategy of not calling the DCMA or DCAA to report the "irregularities" in bidding, tracking costs, charging hours and failures of CSW products to perform to published specifications didn't work out so well. CYA doesn't live alone. It's housemates are "That's Not My Job!" and "I don't want to get fired!".
