Weatherford lays off is big drama in the hand of unprofessional managers. They are laying off the people to save their interests without doing good to the company. The management is happy for a small increase in their stock without any visionary future. The guys who are responsible for this turmoil in Weatherford are posing themselves champion by making the wrong decisions towards the lays off. I have been witness of this drama and knowing few managers, it is really hard to believe that how Weatherford is surviving. These Managers are keeping the people who can works like their pets and nothing more than that.

Being a witness, I also agree with this post. I know very few managers, who has recruited most of their relatives and friends in their respective departments. How these managers have saved them, it is beyond apprehension. Once a guy tried to bring this discrepancy to the upper management and he was in trouble. In Weatherford if you are close to Manager, you need not to worry even you know nothing.
Sure I had a very different experience in another company. Why you got upset. Give me a single justification the people who have been laid off are responsible for this turmoil in Weatherford. These are the managers who have brought this company to this stage. Be realistic.
