Anybody has experience with both? I am courious to find out if the companies are managed differently and if yes, what the differences are. Also, would like to hear any opinions regarding cultural differences.

I've been eating extra Twinkies and doughnuts to help ensure I'm too big to fail.
Both are predatory companies that have contempt for their students and for workers (APOL is downsizing its IT and shipping jobs to India to maximize profits; it appears they are also raising tuition). Both companies also use familiar strategies to target military vets, women, people of color, immigrants, and the underemployed--but University of Phoenix uses a more sophisticated form of racism, sexism, etc. University of Phoenix has lots of cash and won't be going away for a long time (considered too big to fail). Apollo Group also has a more diverse group of investors. CCi doesn't have many investors to plug the holes (but it does have a powerful bank--Wells Fargo--that has a seemingly endless supply of cash and power).
