Do you know what's the typical layoff pay here at UOP? How much money you get after they let you go? Can you get your vacation time paid off? How about sick days.

Severance is based on years of service. Sick and vacation are paid out but usually taxed quite high...like at 45%. We let someone go on Tuesday who was here for 17 years and she go six weeks severance and vacation/sick payout.
