Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Why

For a number of years multiple state AGs, federal agencies ( SEC, DOJ, DOE, VA, CPA, etc.) the White Houses & members of Congress have accused CCI of multiple criminal acts. Name one criminal charge that has been brought. ZERO!

I hear a lot of crap being placed on CCI employees who remain on the job trying to earn living for their families.

Why aren't you yelling at all the state and federal employees who Earn a living making all the noise.

Name a single criminal conviction. Hey let's settle for $$$. Wait, wait, weit! We make money, they make money and all is well.

They all being paid well to make noise and then settle-up.

No criminal charges or convictions. Huh. So rob a bank, get caught, settle out of court $. No record of a conviction. Actually no record of charges or an arrest.

Many posts for many months referring to they did this crime and that's illegal. Now 20880 says "Criminal conviction for what."

I get it, it is all unethical but not criminal. Give me a break.

Criminal conviction for what? What crimes were committed again?

It usually takes longer to put together a criminal case than a civil one. It took ED about 14 years to figure out that CCI was a scam, so I wouldn't look for a criminal prosecution until the year 2054 at the earliest.

I think we need to face the reality that peoe in various level of employ committed a acts that, while not illegal, were certainly immoral.

Anonymous20794: You are correct and I wouldn't be surprised if the SEC took a look at all the short orders that were placed in the months leading up. That alone reeks of insider knowledge due to the volume. Again P3 what crimes were committed? What do you want from CCI, a we're sorry card and a $10 Starbucks card? Why has the DoE all of a sudden backed way the funk down? We have to "check-in" with them in 3 months, that is 90 days, why not 60 days? On the 2nd for of CSC in the McCord room there is the team getting all the documents to the DoE and states. Stop in and ask them how much they have sent already to the DoE and the states. If the placement rates were way off, which they aren't, you know the DoE and Sen. Durban would be screaming to shut down CCI. The DoE got caught just like the IRS did

There are political agendas at play here. They are more interested in taking down CCi than investigating the source of the problem and holding individuals accountable.

If you look at the news, they've started going after UofP again.

NO Conspiracy! Just pointing out that no one is being held accountable for the "crimes." Everyone seems satisfied with "closing or selling schools." What about the people who committed the crimes?

What is your point? That this is a scam being run by both sides? That CCi and DOE are in cahoots? ROFL. I hear a conspiracy theory a-brewin'...
