I'm debating whether I want to spend 10 days wondering and prepping 4 classes I won't get paid for, or just call it a blessing in disguise and enjoy my summer.

Class are full online, they actually raised the class size to 32. I have 3 full classes, and a ten-week course to start in two weeks. Students seem very unconcerned.
Anonymous21150- Don't forget my $20!
I was too busy layin' pipe on yo mama. You might not recognize her tomorrow, I shaved her back.
21105 obviously blew off taking the class How to be a Decent Human Being and Get a Life 101.
Serious business!
If you aren't going to contribute (and aren't an instructor) please go get a life or troll
Somewhere else. This is a setious discussion and we don't need the addition of fools and jesters.
21105 - go f yourself. Of course we have to prep. There's a tremendous amount of work that goes into teaching college classes. Why don't you go back to college and find out.
21106- obviously you aren't an employee of CCI. Contracts don't go out until week 3 - add/drop. No pay if no students.
You should be paid for those classes as you are making yourself available to teach especially if you have a contract.
You really have to prep for those blow off courses?
My 1 class assigned never filled and yes I am part time. The classes were removed from my summer 2014 list yesterday.. I think they only had 50 sections this go round for normal start.. we will see if I get anything for late start.. doubt though.. they keep saying enrollment is dramatically lower than anticipated..
Is the class half empty or half full?
AF
My classes are full. Are you FT or Adjunct?
