Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Focus on education and not on student attrition may have solved the problem. Bottom line....greed.

Thanks for your expertise. I'm sure the policy makers and high level execs (those NOT on this post) could really have benefitted from your plan. They probably would have implemented themselves, even. Listen, you can lecture all you want. The employees reading this board don't run the show. We are the worker bees. Go find the queen and lecture her.

Doctor, I agree with you. Every school needs to be focused on education and the well-being of the student. Sacrificing the students' education or well-being for the sake of profits is immoral, especially if we communicate that the school is trying to benefit them. However, it is difficult to know how to educate Everest's target demographic. Most colleges refuse to admit the cognitively limited. I imagine someone came up with a business plan that said "Since we know education is the solution to everything, and since this is a demographic that is not being educated, let's provide them education in a sustainable (for-profit) way." It started off as a noble idea, but then reality hit. Does anyone have a suggestion for a good strategy for this type of situation?
