The DOE and the monitor will not let CCi claim bankruptcy, at least for awhile. There is way to much at stake for that to happen. If anything, I see them banning new enrollments, consolidating campuses and doing everything they can to wind this company down with the least effect on students, employees and mostly the tax payers. Sure there may layoffs ahead, but I can't see a sudden shut down with people not getting paid. This may be just my opinion, but the government has way too much to lose in a shut down.

And anyone who comes on here and tells people to stop talking about a subject (especially one as important right now as getting paid) isn't going to get any respect from me. Talking things out is the whole point of this forum. Many outlets are speculating that CCi will declare bankruptcy. We could be on the streets tomorrow.
