"Fiction: It will be difficult or impossible to identify buyers for CCi’s campuses. Fact: The Company has indicated to the Department of Education that it expects to enter into definitive agreements to sell its campuses in six months. The process of finding buyers for the campuses has just begun, but the Company has already had numerous expressions of interest from potential purchasers. The Company can’t identify potential buyers at this point, nor can it predict details of the purchase process; for example, the Company does not yet know whether campuses will be sold in large groups, small groups or individually. And there can be no assurance sales will occur."
They can't identify potential buyers at this point, and there can be no assurance sales will occur, yet it's fiction to claim "It will be difficult or impossible to identify buyers for CCi’s campuses." What in the world is going on here? Why doesn't CCi just say, "We have identified many potential buyers, and each one is ready, willing and able to make the purchase." Now that would definitely refute the asserted fiction. Maybe it could be difficult to sell?
