Online Tampa has already had 2 major rifs. Tampa is so under staffed that is why ECPO had to start taking EUO finance calls. Half the floor at Tampa is empty and has been for couple of months now.

The online centers are still running way above minimal staffing. Those are where the big layoffs are going to happen. For years, CCI execs have held all there hopes on online, at the expense of all else. Now that online is in the exact same predicament as ground campuses, it is going to be bloody due to the refusal of executives to right size online for years. There simply is nowhere else to cut, and cut they have to do.

Without a line of credit and tanking student populations, how long will they be able to keep these highly paid managers?

Oh, well, let me suggest the "below minimal staffing" is about the service level desired. You know 100% coverage. If you only have two people, and one calls in sick, how does the campus cover the lunch hour? Possibly expectations need to be greatly lowered, but the whole business model is based on instant service, and that's because of CCi's target market. Possibly there are still thriving campuses, but from what I am seeing, there isn't much more to cut at the campus level, or the level of service should be reduced.

Add/drop ends today for ECPO. My classes were empty. Not a good sign, especially since they don't seem to be able to get a line of credit and vendors seem to be getting nervous about payment.

I don't know if they will get to minimal staffing. It's my impression that they have far too much staffing, included a bloated number of high paid managers. I feel quite certain that managers are scrambling to look busy, busy busy.

How far below minimal staffing can a campus go?

There are current employees who are under the impression that one of 2 things will happen. Either CCI will sell its schools and include all current employees in the sale (???), or they will not sell and will rebrand. In both scenarios nobody loses their jobs. But neither scenario is likely, so I don't understand if management is pushing these ideas or what. Even if CCI gets to the point of a sale, the Everest brand at least is in the hole right now. Enrollment is down, which means less money. I think there will soon be more layoffs just to keep afloat. You can't pay all the highly paid managers otherwise. And judging from things posted here (frozen enrollment, textbooks not being sent because of a worry about payment, no line of credit, firing adjuncts and boosting class sizes to 30) it is much more dire than we even know.
