CCI Should Just Put Their Money Where Their Mouth Is

Instead of the 'Jack's Facts' diatribe sent to the media, CCI ought to do one of 2 things: 1) Show the media the their success story students, which we have yet to see, or 2) Suck it up, admit mistakes were made, and be decent enough to apologize. Media coverage is hitting harder (go, media, if it's the truth.) But that stupid nonsensical fact vs. fiction letter to the media is clearly fooling nobody. I think they've gotten so used to the 'yes men' employees, they've forgotten they can't tell everyone what to think. I used to be a sheep. But, reading the news and this board has really shown me the true colors of this business. It is so sad that CCI is being smug about what's going on. But people are understanding it now. And the truth is the best medicine for everyone. What's sad to me is how many people (students, former employees, and future former employees) who did not understand what was going on. I get every employee is under a black cloud. But that's not fair. So many of us took this job and did this job with the best intentions. We don't all deserve to be ridiculed. But it is what is is. Just apologize CCI. And show us who benefitted (besides high level highly paid management.)

If your are a "no" man, you are unemployed. Simple as that. They do not like to be questioned ( even though there decisions are classiness), just bow as you leave the room and don't look royalty in the eyes!

"I think they've gotten so used to the 'yes men' employees, they've forgotten they can't tell everyone what to think." So true.

I agree with you that CCi should apologize. But I also know that cognitive dissonance is horribly painful. If Jack M. didn't believe that what he was doing was right, he might feel the need to give back the millions he has received each year. Moreover, he probably wouldn't be able to live with himself. It's far easier to keep believing the lie. I think the only hope is for the board to intervene and ask for his resignation.

I haven't seen any media coverage from students who have found jobs, are excelling, and happily paying off their debt. Where are they? Are you one of them? Please share!
