Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

From July 1, 2010 through March 31, 2014 CCi has recorded over $200M in losses, which is all the income from the peak days of 2009 and 2010.

Cannot you see, there is nothing left. CCi has been living on the credit line for far too long. Is there any chance that the operation returns to the good days of 2010 or 2009? If not, then it's only a question of when, not if, the company files bankruptcy. It will be interesting to see if CCi can make it 2 months, much less likely CCi can make it 5 months, until December 31, 2014. Oh, and those lack of enrollments in Illinois and Minnesota, that's only moving the final day closer. And if the loss of online students is anywhere cost to 10,000, from where is the cash going to come? Now that lenders are no longer willing to pump cash into CCi, it is game over!

23722, you are too funny! Without new admissions, there is no money. There's no credit line. CCI is relying solely on $ from students. That's admissions, pal. That's admissions.

In Illinois, Admissions = No Job. There's no "slow" about it. Get ready to be axed.

Except, at CCI, no admissions equals no pay.

As long as I get paid I don't care about admissions' numbers.

If my job was in jeopardy, I wouldn't bother fighting people on a message board WHILE AT WORK. But hey...

Because I wanted to state my opinion. Oh. You are one of those people who can't stand people who have an opinion other than yours. I can see how my responseight be confusing. I could come up with some math stuff to help you out. But, I have to scurry now.

23703, why? We all know our jobs are in jeopardy. That's not news. And why are you so worried about a company you don't even work for? It makes you feel like a big man to try to show people how much you know, but people in your real life don't listen? Sad. But you are not making an impact here either. Again, we already know all of this. We heard it at meetings and read it in the media.

23695 - there's mass panic on campuses all over the country over your posts!!!! It's terrible!!! Tripping. Falling. Crying. There is ACTUAL scurrying!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing us your ultra important theories!! They just

Announced on loudspeakers that you're right! Based on your math, they are shutting down! Of course, you can't know this, not being an emoter of CCI.

Listening to people try to tell employees who aren't even privy to any inside information is hilarious. Trust me, non employee, nobody is scurrying about your posts. It's all old news. And none of it matters. CCI will cease to exist anyway. They are being sold or closed. So what's your point? Your information is pointless.

Watching the rats scurry is a real pleasure. Watching them present their ignorance of economics in fear of their certain firing is priceless.

23692, that's why I think this poster is in no way related to CCI. Somebody said MN was not enrolling. But there's no internal information nor is there any media reports of that. I think this poster just reads this boards and makes weird proclamations he thinks are important to us. IL is going to halt enrollment. Again, there's been no public info except one poster here yesterday that MN halted enrollments.

Unless you are an accountant for CCI, you can't know everything about the finances of CCI. Just making up formulas based in what you read here or I. The paper is not the whole picture.

What is your point? Do you even work for CCI or are you just trolling on this board all day? What's your point? You clearly have no inside info, since all you do is post information we all know and has been reported. If you have any real inside info, that would be helpful.
