Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

If half of what is posted here is half true, I don't give CCi more than three months until bankruptcy is filed.

And before you suggest that a school cannot file bankruptcy, please notice that BioHealth/Bryman filed chapter 11 bankruptcy last week.

If you have no idea what's going on at this point, please just shoot yourself so the rest of us are spared your continued existence.

There ARE drawbacks to filing bankruptcy, but there comes a time when you have no other options. It seems likely that the OP is correct and CCi is nearing that point. No cash, scandal leading to even more drastically reduced sales, Socle going nowhere, etc, etc. It's winding down.

23558, how do you know? They aren't sharing any info with anybody. We have no real idea about what is going on. None.

The issue is not that they can't file bankruptcy. Technically it's a business. But there are a lot drawbacks to doing so.
