There ARE drawbacks to filing bankruptcy, but there comes a time when you have no other options. It seems likely that the OP is correct and CCi is nearing that point. No cash, scandal leading to even more drastically reduced sales, Socle going nowhere, etc, etc. It's winding down.
23558, how do you know? They aren't sharing any info with anybody. We have no real idea about what is going on. None.
CCi is running out of options.
The issue is not that they can't file bankruptcy. Technically it's a business. But there are a lot drawbacks to doing so.
