The first thing they need to do is get rid of those admissions representative who do nothing but sit on Facebook, Candy crush saga, YouTube, or on any of the other idiotic websites all day long. They also need to get rid of those bottom feeder admissions representative that make between $70,000 & $100,000 a year (you know, the ones that steal other reps students, and enroll students from prohibited states by having students use a reference's or parent's address instead of the physical address that the student lives at (ahem, Justin Green), or that walk their students through financial aid documents (thankfully one was just let go for this the other day and he was making bank). Maybe if they start weeding out these lazy and unethical employees the rest of us hourly employees won't be forced to take unpaid days off.

23855, if it is, they will cut pay for everyone.

23855, have you ever worked for corporate America? A business can force pay cuts, layoffs, whatever they want. There are no recognized 'classes' in an organization trike that. The alternative is massive layoffs. So, in the grand scheme of things, this is the better option,

23854, they're tanking, but they are going to pay you NOT to work? Hilarious.

@23844, are you not an employee? Were you not asked to participate in a all hands conference call at 1:00PM this afternoon? Hmmm Perhaps you need to speak with your manager, I' sure a full blown windy email from Wade will follow for those who did not participate...in addition an offer for Heald will be on the table Friday.

Go to the ED and complain.

Wouldn't this be discriminatory ? A class of employees above 40k and another one below 40k unequal treatment

I would only take paid voluntary time off.

You really got to hand it to them, they KNOW they can get away with it because nobody at CCI has the guts to just walk away. They OWN you, and they KNOW it. A classy employer would cut people free, not CCI. They KNOW they have more than enough people who will bow down.

Voluntary unpaid time off for hourly employees. Average of 3 days per person over the 10 week period. Jack can f*** off. I just quit.

So, was that everything from the call? 10% pay cut for people making over $40K for the next ten weeks?

Do the math. We've got about 5 months to sell or close. 10

Weeks is cutting it close.

23805, really? You think they are worried about legalities at this point? I know everyone is freaking out, but I think we are past legalities.

If they can't afford to pay our full pay for ten weeks where do they anticipate bonus funds to come from? The money saved from laying off our staff?

23805: It'll probably be OK if the appointed monitor signed off on it.

Does the 10% pay cut include Admissions and Campus Presidents? If so, that's against the Title IV rules that prohibit changes in pay more than once a year.

Yes, I'm posting while I'm on the call. First ones to be let go are the DVPA'S and RVPA'S. They simply make to much for what they are assigned to do.
