Assuming you have students to justify your campus. At this point, a BIG if.
@23678, I work at one of the campuses that are teaching out. Once announced, everyone in admissions was laid off that day with the exception of the DOA who was let go a few days later. The rest of the faculty and staff are still employed (FA was short staffed so no layoffs were done right away, down to one now) and have each been given an end date and dollar amount of their severance package. If the rumors hold true, several of us will be employed until March 2015 giving us enough time to seek new employment if they decide not to pay out.
23675, if teach out goes to close, there might not be time. Also, as soon as they announce teach out, everyone on that campus in enrollment will be let go that day. And probably most FA advisors. And probably se instructors and other staff. They will trim the staff as students leave. Teach out does not mean everyone stays employed for 18 more months. It's a nice way of saying shut down.
Better work on improving your smile!
@23667, why would those who remain be idiots? They're still employed and are still getting paid. If the rumors are true, it's not like the campuses are closing tomorrow. There's plenty of time to seek new employment before their end date if they find out those who were laid off don't get their severance.
Get busy dialing
I really wish non CCI employees would go get lives. Stop posting just to be jerks. It's annoying but makes you look pathetic.
BUT BUT they are going to just rebrand and we will all keep our jobs!!! Watching all the hood rats scurry around has been a real pleasure.
Read the post below: With a loss of 11,000 students, where is the cash going to come from?
There is no money to pay severances and CCI is under no legal obligation to do so. Therefore, no severances for the idiots that remain.
