Anonymous 24612: there's something going on, but I don't know what. And you are correct that it doesn't make much sense. One rumor is that Socle has been offering these services for next to nothing (at below cost) to build a client base. They believe that once they have a base, growth will be exponential. That would explain the client list. Otherwise, it would make no sense. I could see a few really disorganized small for-profits with outrageous default rates hiring a firm. Why would a legitimate university do that? Could they really not know that they hired Corinthian Colleges?

You know, I almost do believe the deals involve a bit of illicit "servicing" of some sort. Why would a school like TAMU pay big bucks to have a company (that is known for its poor default rates & default management techniques) call their delinquent former students? It doesn't make any sense unless there is something else to the deal that we don't know about. Same with Oral Roberts and the others. Socle is apparently rolling in enough dough that all of the leadership expect to keep their jobs and huge salaries. WTF?!?

Oral Roberts gave us a big clue as to what they wanted with their name. Little did they know that CCi is the MASTER of screwing people over. They ended up servicing us! All while handing over their federal financial aid dollars like good little Christians! Go Socle! Saving exec's dreams and funding golden parachutes since 2013!
