The huge Democrat money-donor, George Soros, and the Clintons have a financial stake in Walden (Google it). While Obama may hate for-profits, he won't be going after Walden any time soon.

You think Walden has a good reputation? Sorry, no. It's just a pretend university for people who can't get into real ones.

Even if they bought CCI, the first thing they would do is fire everybody. They don't want CCI level employees. We are badly tarnished, particularly in certain departments. And also, they don't want call center dudes who are on social media all day, even though it's the managers' fault.

What's your point? You think they are potential buyers? Walden is miles away from what CCI is. They have a good reputation. At this point, CCI is a sinkhole. I'm not even sure it's a viable sale option. But keep dreaming. I know some of you need to keep your fantasies alive!

KKR specializes in acquiring small, indebted schools and making them bigger and profitable. They own many international colleges and 5 smaller ones here in the U.S., such as Walden. CCI is not just indebted, our reputation is tarnished and undergoing litigation in multiple states as well as the scrutiny of the DOE. Not sure that would be appealing to Laureate. Maybe just the Canadian campus. Surely, not domestic.

Yeah, their focus is international students..along with international employees to match. They aren't interested in junk like CCI, their focus is 180 degrees different then US for profits.
