Socle is so impotent that they've lost all their confidence. They are working for TAMU for free. Just an occasional pat on the head is all they need. As long as they get that, they'll push your students into using up all of their forbearance instead of actually dealing with their loans ALL DAY LONG.

They apparently have a few clients that they process financial aid for: Oral Roberts U, Texas A&M, Grace Divinity, Lake Sumter, Grayson College, North Central Texas College, East West University, NY Film Academy. From what I've heard, though, they've had to severely discount their prices to get some clients to start up with. They're not making much and in some cases performing very limited services such as default management. There is also a concern that Socle Education has misrepresented itself as being a separate company from CCi, and that they may lose clients if they start catching on. It could lead to bad PR to have your students find out that their financial aid is being overseen by Corinthian Colleges ("the worst of the worst of career for-profit college chains" according to the press). Since they are signed on by our usual used car salesman type reps, I could see the clients having been misled.
Oh, yea, the clients know! No condom is necessary.
