I am now an online instructor. But I worked a teach out at a competing for profit. The last few weeks scared me. I felt scared while I was there, but nervous about going in. The President of the school disappeared two weeks after the announcement. I never saw him again. The Dean of the school sort of was around, but did not see him on campus the last three weeks. The FA guy, who was also supposed to be there left after classes started. So, all 5'4"" of me was there alone. There were 2 cleaning ladies there somewhere. The students left were disgruntled. One 6 foot plus guy was pushed about a grade I gave him. He threw a chair one night. I lived in fear. No security. It was a terrible, terrible experience. The only saving grace was 2 students. One was a security guard for another company who had to show up in her uniform because of time. The other was the husband of a fellow employee who was transferred to another campus. The students the recruit are going to be angry when a teach out occurs. Are they dangerous? I have no idea. Does cci want to find that out the hard way? Cut security and find out. In hindsight, I should have quit. There was no one to complain to. These highly paid employees were supposed to be there. They didn't care. Security is NOT the place to cut corners. Nobody should feel the fear I felt. It was not worth it. But I felt a level of professionalism that overrode my feeling of personal safety.

I am not an idiot. Idiots just issue grades. When you go to college/university you are paying for an education, not a grade. You must be a student or director, idiot. Or maybe just a pathetic little troll.
Just issue an A grade idiot! Not like this is a real school. It is like Greg Fokker's parents hanging up awards for 10th place from the 4H Club.
I made a fake bazooka out of toner cartridges. If I run into anybody scary I will just beat them to death with my tower of ink.

When push comes to shove, do not live in fear over a paycheck. I am so grateful that student that threw the chair stopped coming. The parking lot was dark and classes ended at 10:30 pm. Management, if you read this, at least consider the basic safety of your instructors. You have that moral duty. Bob Owen, man up asshole. Don't find out the hard way your students are dangerous. It's already on your head that students and employees have to live with your shit mistakes. Don't make it worse.
