No you're NOT doing what they're asking. They are paying you for NOT being there. Get it? Fire away. Since they do everything ass backwards, those who are afraid will likely be the 1st to go.

Yes, but if you take approved time off, what point have you made? Wouldn't it make more sense to refuse to take the time off, or picket the school? I'm just not sure what the goal is? And it's not about getting more for less. It's about money they don't have.
