For those who are instructors......don't under any circumstances report student plagiarism. I reported 12 last term and did not get any classes this term even though my evaluations are "exceedsExpectations".

Classes are being consolidated, so instructors are being eliminated even faster than staff. Also with the student population continuing to go down, fewer and fewer instructors are needed.
Of all the staff, the instructors are the safest..right now. With the quarter being in week 3/4, they can't afford to do away with instructors. The people who are most vulnerable right now are student services, admissions, and career services. It is about servicing the students we have to minimize lose. The next round of lay offs will be in staff, not instructors.

25031, congrats on all your savings!
Ok, so I'll "lose my job" a couple weeks early. Whatever. Let's see what's left of CCi in five months.
Both. One before the other.
If you call in to show defiance, you won't need to worry about CCI. They'll be around longer than you have your job.
There's, like, 20 posts about this. Management will figure out the call in is supposed to show them. So, my bet is that you get laid off first round. I keep my job for as long as I can.
Do you want to find out? Call in sick.
