Look at the managers on here trying to talk you out of or scare you out of taking a day off. If you currently have sick time take it! You don't get paid sick time when you're let go anyways. VAC yes but not sick time. So take all you can because it's over. Solidarity among employees will show CCI and Jack that you're not stupid and know what's going on. It's not business as usual lol. Sick time take it now!!!!

Who's the OP? Who's organizing this? Are you nervous the people keep pushing this do not tell you who they are?
I tried to dissuade people to do it. But, I really don't care anymore. I need my paycheck. If you don't, good for you. But, just ask yourself who else is doing it? Everyone is rallying for this big show and nobody is posting their names. Nobody saying they will do it will actually do it. But, if you don't believe me, you can find out in about 25 hours. Good luck. You sure will show them. Or you'll run out of sick days and management still won't care.
