Few instructors, some from career service and some from admissions left. Im trying to get out myself
50% in student services for one team at ECPO.
I resigned shortly after the date in question on this thread, I am receiving unemployment because I documented managements abuses and made a valid case for hostile workplace that CCi didn't even bother to contest.
I don't care about management. I had almost no contact with management. I liked my job. You hate it? Leave. Maybe I can them come back. But the instructor jobs are few and far between. You'll find that out soon enough.
Why would you give anything to be back to management that does not care about employees or students?
Oh, and by voluntary paid time off, I meant fired. Let go. A group of cattle sent to the meadow. Gone Boys and girls.
I would love to take a stand. Unfortunately, I was an adjunct at ECPO last term. They gave me voluntary paid time off. It sucks. I miss the job and the money and would give anything to be back. I know some of you feel as if you are taking a stand and some of you are going to make bosses change their mind. But it's not that simple. These cuts are for real. People are really losing their jobs. I did. And it's not fair. Go forward and do what you want. But know this. I had a job 5 weeks ago and now I do not. My paycheck is zero. And they never even had the decency to email me. Management does not care about employees or students, IMO. They all want to save their own jobs. I wish I still had mine. I would've kept doing it, unpaid time or not, until they shut their doors.
Is ECPO Everest College Phoenix?
