Please beware of this school ( North West College) when applying.... Most all employees are Part time at 38 hours which means no benefits no vacation or sick time accrued. Horrible curriculum and guess what only the executive team are Full time... No raises ever... Ran by ex UEI employees that ran that school to the ground. BEWARE

Yeah it's called no benefits or perks. And getting asked to work on holidays so you can get compensated since staff work 38 hours with NO benefits.

Is OP a student or employee? I can't tell.
I think the OP has a valid point to make. He/she is obviously discussing working conditions at this school (chain?) and many of us are looking for new jobs. Some specifics would be helpful so we would know what to ask if invited for an interview.

Anything over 34 hours is considered full time and gets bennies. Also, every college and university in the US had part time adjunct faculty. All of them.
Reading the replies, one has to wonder if part-time students really are 38 hours without vacation and other benefits.
I don't think you apply. I think you show up and sign financial aid papers. Anyone, literally anyone, can get into CCI.
I think you're confused about who reads this board. And Btw, if potential students did their homework (pun intended) before signing on the dotted line, CCI wouldn't have 75,000 students. Your target audience is home, watching tv.
