I came in early today and overheard a couple managers talking in the break room. Sounds like we're losing a client. They sound scared. I'm guessing that we're not making CCi any money, what with all the discounts we've been giving to "build a customer base." Once the execs see that we're not going to magically expand and save their butts, they'll cut us off ASAP. They'll at least start making heavy cuts and only keep a few to keep disbursing aid.

Texas A&M CC is still a CDR client and that the Texan's threat never materialized. I do believe there is some good news coming about Socle in the next week or two

I'm not lying! All of our clients are CDR except for two. I never said that we only have two clients. CDR is just contacting delinquent borrowers to avoid loan default. Unless you think we can't even handle that, then STFU!

Anonymous25856: I dared him and I am not a Socle manager. Texas A&M is not an FA client in Socle and they are not leaving Socle so I can end that rumor now. The only "client" we would lose is BioHealth due to their chap 11 bankrupt. The only FA Socle clients are Grace Divinity and Lake Sumter in Florida and they are aware of the situation and the fact that Socle is CCI before they signed the contract. But trolls will be trolls and I am sure that I will be accused of being management or a liar. At least I know the real story and really don't care if you believe me.

Why am I not surprised? All of the management trolls were on here acting all macho and daring readers to contact the client companies about us (meaning that Socle is CCi). I'll bet you anything that someone did. One of the posters was a TAMU grad who sounded really pissed off at the tone of the Socle manager. The manager not only degraded the grad, but also TAMU and the entire state of Texas! It was stupid to not back down.
Anonymous 25817 - feel free to put CCi on your resume if you're applying at other career schools. I'm a RIF who went on to a competitor and, trust me, we all know when these things happen that it's management that is rotten. Front line staff with skills and experience in any of our areas (admissions, student finance, placement, academics) will get interviews. They'll get jobs as long as they're careful to come across as ethical. "I was shocked to hear what some of the campuses were doing in Career Placement. That would NOT have happened on our campus." When you are being references for each other, remember to say something similar. "X.Y. is an exemplary employee, who shows the highest ethical standards in everything she does." Good luck out there!

I know what SOCLE is. OP did not specify. This is a cci board and SOCLE employees have been adamant you are not part of cci. So, it's confusing.
Anonymous 25822 - yes, Socle handles financial aid for CCi and also has some outside clients (mostly just for call center type work).

Oh, snap! I've been looking and I have Socle on my res, thinking people won't connect it with CCI. I hope that at least a few folks out there stay in the dark until I get hired. Fingers crossed! Good luck all!
I was a Feb RIF and started at one of Socle's client schools in May. I hadn't heard any rumblings until recently but I'm starting to. I had CCi, not Socle, on my resume, but I've been asked about Socle lately and whether they're going to survive (my guess is no - gone by EOY).
