Within the next week or so, primarily in academics and student services. Their staffing ratios are tied directly to student population, and with the decline in enrollment...well,a RIF shouldn't be a surprise to anyone in those positions.
Divisional Directors are next to go. Across all divisions. Middle corporate management is considered superfluous now.

It is likely that layoffs will co.e after the 10 week period of pay cuts & unpaid vacation. That marks the 3 month revisit of the MOU. CCI is not able to make changes without the approval of monitor and DOE. The regionals don't even seem to communicate with Directors about layoffs they just send the envelopes with layoff information.
What are you worried about? You don't even work for CCI. All you do is go from board to board all day long.

I think CCI would like to avoid the RIF route. They figure people are looking to leave anyways. I do notice LOTS of documented LOAs though...No sign of a termination roster being produced.
If HR is busy in your campus that is the warning.
No warning is ever given and there is to special day some were on Monday some were on Friday. Don't remember any being in the middle of the week. Do you? They just come out of the blue but since enrollment and retention are way down that is a logical conclusion. It seems the company is just limping along.
