We are saving toner to save money. Who wants to buy that?
I would argue that there are groups of staff who have very specialized skill sets. In particular, student finance and instructors (at least in some areas). Speaking as an ex-employee who is now with a new company, these are tough positions to fill. I'm about to hire a student finance officer, and may have to make do with training one from scratch. That's a lot of training!

CCI as a whole is NOT for sale. Blocks of or separate schools are. CCI is worth nothing. It's like an old car. They're just selling parts.
I agree with 26211. If they keep employees on, they will negotiate lower salaries or let you go. You will not be a CCI employee anymore. It's over for us.

CCI employees have wages that are too high for a new company to retain plus bad habits Better to zero base & hire your own people It is not a specialized skill set it can be trained
That will happen Tuesday of next week at 10:30 a.m. (Pacific).
Very unlikely. I have no insider info - nobody here does. But mass paycuts do not generally precede good news or company sales.
In theory that could happen. But CCI isn't worth anything and it's not for sake as a whole. It's for sale in pieces. And if they sell and change to the sellers' brand, eventually they will hire new emotes. But, as it stands, CCI is folding. It is likely it can't limp along until a sake, at least not in it's current form. So if there is a school or a few schools that sell, big layoffs will probably precede a sale. Are you asking what will happen to you? Nobody but the 4th floor guys can answer. But I would start making plans for the future. It'll suck to be competing for jobs with 12,000 other employees.
That is a fairy tale. Consult Cinderella and Snow White.
