Scum = admissions and management. Faculty suffers from the enrollments and decisions these idiots made and continue to make. They get all the shit students that are not teachable. As a former faculty, I had my pick of better paying non-faculty job offers - especially since my experience is in IT! Employers didn't care about my Everest teaching experience at all. So original poster can rot in hell.
Agree with 26333 - when I was looking elsewhere no one even know what cci was, let alone that we were in the news. Some of us got out because of real skills we learned at our time there. Not everyone was an unethical crook.

I have gotten a couple of offers, and I'm deciding between them now. One is from the city and another is from a promising company. Suck it. You put a lot of anger and energy into this thing and this is my first time replying. We only did what we were taught just like any other company and not everyone for CCi is a total dick. We will do anything for our family to eat. We didn't force the students to enroll, we didn't put a gun to their head. We provided all the information they needed and that's that. Go f*** yourself.

Yeah, it's funny how a few people leave every week and there are big local companies specifically targeting ex-CCi employees for their new hires. Companies seek out people who can sell, not necessarily those with ethics. Get a clue. This is America, which evolved by the Educated and strong preying upon the weak. It happens in ALL BIG Business. I'm not saying it's right, but don't act like this is the only place it happens. From this post, it sounds like you have experience being the weak. Enjoy your life on government assistance, troll.

For the OP to have that much anger, he/she must have been through a lot. I doubt CCi or its employees caused it - probably misdirected rage. For heaven's sake! Most of us agree with you when it comes to admissions reps. The rest of us have been half killing ourselves to get these students through their programs. Yes, many of them are ill-prepared and have poor attitudes. But we get quite a few of them through and with skills that will make them employable. Otherwise it's welfare or part-time at Micky D's. So grow up and stop hating so much.

Yikes. Clearly OP has nothing better to than to troll websites like this, instead of using them for what they're intended. And just to clarify, I have a job at two other traditional institutions, and have been offered several jobs while employed with CCI. HR knows the difference between a credible, hardworking instructor and a lazy drone with no education. For that, I'm thankful.
