Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Company Standard

Since receiving a pay is somewhat unsure, perhaps you would like to follow the company standard recently set by corporate...when asked to do your job, don't comply. Wait until they have made five or six requests then tell them you will re-double your effort to get there. By the way, a "re-doubling" of nothing is...oh yeah...nothing.

And another thing Anonymous 13219, I've worked my ass off for this company for 12 years and I take offense to being called part of the problem. I have worked many late hours trying to help students that can't read or write comprehend the material that is needed to pass their class. Try teaching someone who has the mental capacity of a 5 year old. I've never quit on these students and you can shove your sarcastic criticism against people you don't know. As you can see, it's not about the education, it's all about the money! It seems to me you're nothing but an ass kisser so why don't you just shut the f**k up!

Anonymous13219, there is no solution. If you worked 16 hour days for a week you just worked 80 hours for no pay. It's kinda funny that anyone would be willing to work that hard when all that was needed was for Jack to have asked for the documents back in January when they were first requested. You would have had 5 months to produce them. Instead, he waits until the feds put the plug in the money funnel to try and produce documents. If there is nothing to hide, the documents would have been sent to the DOE long ago. The only logical reason the information wasn't sent to the DOE sooner is that the documents requested by the DOE will prove the allegations against CCi are true and justified. Just saying!

I was part of the solution, I went to the government and complained about CCI.

They did redouble their efforts. Everyone on my team including my director and campus president worked 16 hour days the entire week

To get the dept of ed. The info they requested. I don't know where some of you people work but obviously you are part of the problem. If you don't quit, and quit being a pay check collector.

Be part of the damn solution.

We will re-double your pay this Friday. Oh, yes, double zero is still zero.

Tell management you expect them to "re-double" their effort. Instead of asking you 5-6 times, you now expect 10-12 requests before any action is needed.
