Maybe CCI considers the restrictions on the funds to be "business as usual." Not so normal for other corporations:

The U.S. Department of Education has cut a deal with the troubled parent company of three for-profit colleges with campuses across the Bay Area to keep its schools open while requiring the sale of some and the eventual closure of others. " from San Jose Mercury http://goo.gl/uGwrog AND Under the MOU, Corinthian will identify and engage an independent compliance and business monitor acceptable to the Department. The monitor will have full access to Corinthian's financial and operating records and information and report to the Department on Corinthian's progress in the implementation of the transition plan contemplated by the MOU." from MarketWatch http://goo.gl/8E0Mfg

Typical of an employee of CCI to do half the work and not the rest by making this comment. It's a clear example of some of the ignorance that has built the foundation of this corporation. Funny how it reminds me of southerners fighting for gun rights.

How is it business as usual? I guess if you are in the legal dept it will with the onslaught of lawsuits to come. Even with agreement with ED, the company will be carved up and sold (if it can be), closed, or a teach out.

Words coming from Upper Management or Corporate. CCI is doomed!

Do you really expect upper management to say, "It's no longer business as usual, since we don't have an agreement yet."

Speak for yourself, coming from the person who half-assed read an email. It stated business as usual and that the higher ups were "still working" on an agreement with the DOE

Even with an agreement with ED, it's never going to be business as usual!
