Sad that people just don't get it. No fudged numbers at the campus, just a lot of hard work, dedication, and a program that worked. If you worked in the East, you would have heard about the "Chelsea Board" or resume on demand, or go to youtube and watch an employer event with 50+ employers on site, a state representative, 2 CEO's and 100+ students of which 20 were hired that week from employers that attended. There was no need to fudge numbers when you ran a legit operation with the right staff.
$50 for a legit resume and consult is a STEAL! - How about connections across the country available for sales reps and a referral network of 2000+ people.
82.5% isn't an unrealistic placement number. It depends on the particular school. Some of them have programs that do well in their areas, so he could be legit. Maybe some opportunism, but the offer could also be win-win.
Because this person is taking advantage of the situation that employee's are facing right now. This person does not want to help, they can care less, they are just trying to make profit off the people about to lose their jobs. It says it all in the sales pitch on this post:

Would you people lay off him already? I know you're all upset, but jobs are hard to come by right now. What you need is exactly what 14483 seems to operate - a recruiting firm specializing in career college placements. $50 for a good resume consult is pretty cheap, and he's telling you that there's no charge to get placed. Why all the hostility?
You are probably one of the staff that over exaggerated the graduate placement number and then started your business. You are still trying to make money off US employee's in the verge of losing our jobs. 14585 is right, get out of this site, this is for people that need information on CCI layoff status, not some bogus recruiting business opportunity. And, you're charging for resume building/writing really? Get a life...why don't expand your services elsewhere.
14585 - I make NO money from candidates. I make money from my clients paying for the candidates I present. If you dont understand how staffing works, you should stay off this site.
I OFFER $250 as a SIGN ON bonus people that accept jobs through my company. I actually PAY people to sign up and accept positions with us.
As for the Resume service - We charge $49.95 to write, consult and complete a resume. This is a fraction of Careerbuilder/Monster prices starting at $150+.

It looks like your recruiting and making them $250 for your service...that's not of help to us employees about to lose our jobs. You are a scam artists. There are plenty of free online jobsites. I'd rather take my chances with them...than a prying sales leach like your business. Get off this website.
Yes the domain tool does say that as I had this company create and manage my website. If you actually went to the page, you would see all of the open positions in Massachusetts...

This is very kind and it makes sense from the business perspective. Helps folks who were laid off and you make money, I have no problem with that, on the contrary, it's a win win situation, CCI loses anyway...

My company is up here in Massachusetts/New Hampshire. We have 7 staffing consultants on staff here to help. We have positions all over the country and will work hard to find you a new position even if we dont have a position. www.aboveitallconsulting.com

I also placed all 7 of my career services staff into new positions within 3 months after I left and placed 2 Admissions reps, a DOA. The campus i worked for didnt deserve my staff anymore. My 82.5% placement when i left is back to 48% and declining...

Maybe you didn't read my first post. I left CCI last year and have a new job and my own company. Not starving over here. I was in Management and saw the writing on the wall over a year ago and got out.
Look at the hostility from a soon to be starving CCI employee. Don't be pissed at your situation, CCIs demise is looooooooong overdue.
