15379, what has TH and TD done? TH became a RVPO in 12/2011 and the region has gone downhill. Numbers don't die. Both TH and TD's campuses prior to becoming RVPO ( berr ridge and aurora) are the worst performing campuses in the region under their leadership. I don't see how "they made the region a better place for both employees and students".

14965 you seem to be a bit lost. SQ created a mess in Chicago -- a real mess. Yeah -- he was nice but he could not lead his way out of a paper bag that had been left in the rain for three days. Leadership is not easy and this region was a mess. TH and TD had faults like anyone does, but they made the region a better place for both employees and students. If there were more leaders like them in this company we may not be sitting in the position we are in now.

@14946: You don't know what you are talking about. SQ who was there before TH was much better. TH and TD may seem nice on the surface level and say the right things in front of students but it was not pretty behind closed doors.

I would agree. They may have been from best buy but they made life much better here. TD knew how to get things done and he cared about students and employees. He was not your typical political campus president. He cared about what was going on.

To 14789, they were both better than anything prior and what I am reading about or hearing about from other regions. Might not have been from education but both knew how to manage people. They made this place better than what is was before.

They both from best buy with zero education experience. How did they get their position instead of people with higher ed experience?

TH aka "Scary Terri" was the worst. She always talked about some stupid pyramid of engagement but had zero personality on a campus. TD is a good guy in a tough spot. Usually spends time only with the Pres when he's on a campus (although rare).

Do not know to much about TH or TD. Things are tough in Chicago. Waiting to hear who is going to continue and who will be closed. Concerned for my friends and hoping someone buys us.

I liked them both. Better than most of the leaders I am hearing about.

I agree that they both care. TD is in a tough spot right now. He is trying to keep employees feeling good and it is not easy.

Hard to answer this -- TD has only been here a short time and TH was here longer. Both of them seem to care about students and employees. I can tell you that the region is much better because of both of them.

They are both good people that tried to make a difference. They cared at least.
