CCI execs dicking around employees until the bitter end

Making you sweat it out for an undisclosed period. They knew months ago this day was coming, yet did nothing to warn or help employees. Why you guys CONTINUE to stay is beyond me, gluttons for punishment I guess. Don't even say its "for your students", to take the emotional and possible economic abuse you have taken this week is a sad state of affairs with what you have allowed CCI to do to you. It's no different then being beaten and threatened by a spouse, yet stay when they leave for work the next day. Severance is 100% out of the picture, take back your self respect and quit. It is sad and pathetic at this point. CCI quit on you, why continue on? At what point do you stand up for yourselves?

You are so right about the work hours being oppressive. No time or energy left to even consider job hunting. It was exhausting being a PD. So glad it ended.

We stay because we have bills to pay and families to feed. We have been dicked around so much with our pay and benefits with terrible work hours it is nearly impossible to look for another job.

This place isn't what most of us signed up for.

I wish there would be a citizens arrest to the entire fourth floor executive management team in Santa Ana. I pray for the day they have to answer to congress and wait for the day they all go to prison.

Some of us have insurance for our families with this company. Some of us DO care about our students. So stop calling me stupid! I'm praying my campus will last long enough for my students to graduate so they don't have to start over somewhere else. Yes, I have a plan and yes, I'm really pissed off that this is happening. Insulting people is not the answer, so please lay off.

The Inspector General's office knows a lot about what's been going on. I have it on very good authority that when the company was "cleaning house" of all the rules following folks, people being put on PIPs knew what was happening and starting collecting documentation for the feds.

I was tipped off when the Attorney General's office called to ask me questions. Don't bury your heads in the sand.

Only losers have stayed. I left long ago. Did you read the lawsuit? Duh! Yes I got another job quickly. Don't stay with losers.

My definition of stupid would be walking away today and my job will be gone in a week anyway.

Better than decent odds your job won't even exist next week, no guarantee you are going to be paid for ALL time worked, definitely not getting a severance, company execs not warning you of the consequences of MONTHS of their actions, finding out about the ED's actions from the internet, being left in the dark about your companies future...please tell me your definition of disrespect?

So, you are ok with not having any self respect for how you are treated 8 hours a day because you have bills to pay? Ok, at what point does that change? Are bills and "family responsibility" always going to overrule your right to fair treatment as a human being?

How about for my family. They deserve as smooth a transition as possible and me quitting today does not allow that. Leave without a job waiting? Leave with no unemployment? Be real. No one has 6 months of expenses saved. It would be crazy to exhaust savings and tap 401k if coming back and trying to do my job saves me from that another day or week or month. I have grown-up bills and expenses. Sorry.

The issue is simple: people need to put food on the table and a roof over their heads. I'm sure most have their resumes out, but until they get that next job -- which may be difficult for many -- they are keeping their jobs. If they quit, they get nothing. If they hang on, at least they can collect unemployment insurance.
