I worked there, too. While I would agree that the company was not perfect and needed to fix many things, I find it fascinating how many people who participated in the so-called slimy behavior suddenly go on attack. Chances are very strong that you got fired for doing something stupid and you now want to retaliate by posting this garbage. When I worked there we investigated and fired as many slime balls as possible so that we could try to keep some semblance of cleanliness and what do those people do? They play victim and bash the company for firing them for the very wrong-doings that they are now accusing of CCi. Stop playing the the victim and own up your negative contribution to the company's downfall.

Well, let's see sentence 1: "The Obama administration now can claim partial credit for the demise of one of the largest for-profit college chains. " Sentence 4: "He said for-profits are facing a “regulatory assault” by a White House that is “ideologically opposed to this sector.” What's my beef against Cci? I worked there and saw first hand the decrease in standards and the slimy behavior of the company.

Who the hell is Obama bashing? Are you saying that the entire US government IS Obama? Your head is so far up Obama's ass you can't even come up with an intelligent response. What's your beef with CCi, huh? If you work(ed) there then you are part of the slime you describe.

Oh please. Corinthian is in trouble for its own slimey practices, which we all know about. Save the Obama bashing. If Corinthian cared about educatuon, students would have had nothing to report and the government would have had no reason to issue a freeze.

Excellent response to that article by Susan! And very, very true. I left CCi 18 months ago because I saw the writing on the wall in terms of the DOE's intent to take the industry down. But make no mistake, there were (are) a lot of honest, hard-working people there who are making a difference in the lives of students. The admissions process is flawed, no doubt, but CCi is certainly not the only flawed player in for-profit or not-for-profit education, that's for sure.
