Let me get this straight. ML is afraid that someone will post the video on the internet so she lies and pretends that we are unable to stream video anymore due to technical difficulties. There is integrity for you. We've streamed for years without a problem. Why is she so afraid? Perhaps she doesn't want us comparing what we've been told because the stories keep changing?
Streaming is simple technology and is in place. The issue is some knucklehead will post the video on Youtube. Similar to the BS layoff email a whileback.

keep in mind the STI is only one of many bonus plans. The STI is for the people that Mary Lee has said never deserved to get a bonus. The other bonus plans are not affected and continue to pay out.
It was a lie to say that they could not stream the town hall due to technical difficulties. It was a lie to say they couldn't post the video of the town hall so everyone could hear what she had to say. It was a lie to spend all year pretending they were going to pay out on the STI when they knew that FHEG could not possibly meet their goals. Now we can MAYBE get 25% of our potential bonus if the gate is closed but FSS meets whatever ridiculous (unannounced) goals have been set. I don't know what the goals are but I heard some of the assumptions and it appears that FSS has been set up to fail.
I do believe that ML and the rest of the new leaders did not understand all of the business and the industry. They recently made changes to STI to make sure there are payouts this year, and even made them independent by company as opposed to "one follett". We don't have to beat last year.
Like any business they are learning and adjusting to improve the work and lives of employees.
I don't believe they intentionally lie.
Then she should quit lying and just admit she doesn't want us to know what she is doing. She can quit lying about the STI bonus program too and admit it was designed to prevent payouts.
Face the facts, CNS is the only team at Follett not impacted by the layoffs.
